Aetina Introduces New Edge AI System Based on ASIC and Powered by Blaize

Aetina, a developer of edge AI solutions, has introduced a new ASIC-based edge AI system that is powered by the programmable Blaize® Pathfinder P1600 Embedded System on Module (SoM). Aetina delivers embedded computing hardware and software for AI and IoT. A tiny embedded computer called the Aetina AI inference system (AIE-CP1A-A1) is made for a variety of computer vision uses, such as automated inspection, object identification, and human motion detection.

The tiny form factor Blaize® Pathfinder P1600 embedded SoM, which is perfect for harsh and difficult situations and embedded systems that require extended temperature ranges, is a feature of the AIE-CP1A-A1 model. It has dual ARM Cortex A53 processors, sixteen GSP cores for sixteen TOPS AI performance, low memory bandwidth, low latency, and other features that enable it to accelerate the deployment of neural networks (NNs) and the deep learning (DL) process.
