Truecaller Launches AI-Enabled Call Recording in India
The first global platform for contact verification and preventing unsolicited calls, Truecaller, has announced the arrival of AI-Powered Call Recording for iOS and Android in India. With the new feature, users can now record both incoming and outgoing calls right within the Truecaller app, making it a quick and easy method to keep track of and organize crucial discussions. AI Call Recording is an innovative cloud-based recording function that provides a high degree of speech quality. It is a premium service that is accessible with a Truecaller Premium subscription. Any call, from any caller, can be recorded and transcribed by the user in both Hindi and English. The program was first introduced in English-speaking countries like the US, and more countries and languages will be added later.
Truecaller improves productivity during calls by utilizing state-of-the-art Artificial Intelligence technology to enable users to actively participate in their live discussion without worrying about taking thorough notes. An important advancement has been made with the addition of AI to the recently released call recording capability, which enables both an AI-generated call summary and a thorough transcription of the full conversation.
"We are always creating cutting-edge solutions that enhance communication," said Rishit Jhunjhunwala, Chief Product Officer and Managing Director of Truecaller India, in reference to the launch of the call recording feature in India. We are excited to introduce our AI-enabled Call Recording solution, which has been a widely desired user feature by our 266M active users in India, as we continue to push these frontiers. We want to provide our clients more freedom and control over how they conduct their discussions because it is an extremely useful tool for both personal and business use."
Truecaller's Premium subscription will provide access to the AI-powered Call Recording feature. Currently, the feature supports transcriptions in Hindi and English and is being rolled out across iOS and Android.
